So you want to be blessed? Walk with the Lord, fear Him and then you shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands.
Many expect that blessings cost nothing, that God just freely blesses those no matter if one walks with Him or not. Maybe because they have good morals, or that they joined a church. I could go in many different topics and areas with this post but I’m going to write what is on my heart.
let’s take a look at Psalm 119
“Blessed are the undefiled in the way who walk in the law of the Lord.”
before we go any further, lets look closer to this one sentence.
6 characteristics of a blessed person
1. Walk undefiled in the way
2. Walk in the law of the Lord
3. Keep His testimonies
4. Seek Him with a whole heart
5. Do no iniquity
6. Walk in His ways
1. Walk Undefiled in the Way (without blemish, without spot)
Hebrews 7:26 explains “For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy; innocent, unstained, separated from sinners and exalted above the Heavens.”
Jesus was the perfect example of this statement because He knew no sin, God also expects us through Him to be holy, innocent and unstained! Only by His grace can we accomplish this.
Knowing Him is everything that the soul longs for, by being complacent we are putting a veil on our heart of who really God is and how wonderful He can be.
