Outnumbered, Over Taken and Out of Options

Outnumbered. Over taken. Out of options.

EXODUS 14:10-14

10 When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the Lord. 11 They said to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? 12 Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.” 13 And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Sometimes we run out of options but we never run out of opportunities. We may feel:

  1. OUTNUMBERED – but not forgotten.

2. Overtaken – but not forsaken.

3. Out of options- opportunity for God to do something that He has never done before.

It takes us running out of options before we get to a Divine opportunity at times. It seems when you have no options thats when God can do what He does best — miracles.

In the book of Exodus, God ordained that place where they would be outnumbered, overtaken, but it gave divine opportunity for a miracle.

The enemy delights in shutting down all of our options so that we reach a point that we can compromise or quit.

But Moses says this…”“Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today.”

When you run out of options somewhere hidden in that situation is a divine opportunity for God to move in a way that you would not get if you still had alternatives that you could turn to other than God.

When you run out of options it gives an opportunity for God to do a miracle!

When you run out of options it is God that is saying, “Stand firm and see the Salvation of the Lord.”

Do you feel Outnumbered? Overtaken or Out of Options?

Take God at His Word… Stand firm and see the Salvation of the Lord!
