Ever After Me

I find myself speechless at times when I think about the love of the Father, the reckless, fanatical all consuming father who was there before it all was made, or created. Bible says that He knew us even before we were conceived. He knows the plans, He has the blueprints to our lives and by trusting Him He will unveil those plans as we walk by faith as we do the Will of the Father. In this story we see the pursuit of the Father and His love for mankind.

Here is a story of a man who was blind from birth. Who has never seen the sunrise or sunset. He’s never seen the birds of the air or anything that moves nor has he seen the handiwork of God’s creation, until now.

We don’t have to know everything about God before we come to Him. He is a mystery. But yet in the pursuit of Him, He unravels the mystery before our eyes so that we may see the works that He displays in our lives!

Ever Before Us

John 9:1“As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.”

‭‭Jesus knew him without asking any questions of when or how he was blind. Jesus seen Him available for a miracle.

“Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭9:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I believe when we lose the wonder of God we begin to be blind to the opportunities of what God can do in our lives and as well as others.

Always After Us

“Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man’s eyes with the mud and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing.”

‭‭John‬ ‭9:6-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Being sent in order to be healed was the least that this man could do. Just imagine the anticipation, the hope that was stirring inside of this man and the enthusiasm as he washed his face in the pool.

“One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.””

‭‭John‬ ‭9:25‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Always After Me

“Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” He answered, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?” Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who is speaking to you.” He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.” Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.”

‭‭John‬ ‭9:35-41‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Jesus was looking for this man? And He found him. In a place where Jesus knew where he would be. At His feet. It’s where He has found me and you. He is always ever after me.
