John 10:27
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
Think about the last time that you were infatuated at the feet of Jesus? Is there still a fire that is shut up in your bones? Or have we become content by staying in our tents of complacency down below?
As the Lord directed me to the Bible Study some weeks ago that I presented to Catalyst, that Word is still in my spirit! God has pregnated another Word as He said to me ” I’m calling you to higher ground”.
God dwells in the high and holy place.
In order to get where He is, we must come out from where we are. We must be separate from this world. Sanctified unto God, or better known as a consecrated vessel.
2 Timothy 2:21
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work. (ESV)
We cannot live a double life, of walking down that hill to live in Sodom and go back to the hill for rest and forgiveness.
Lot did not belong in the city of Sodom, we too cannot take up residence in such an evil atmosphere of temptation.
God brought to my attention how Abraham was apart from that city Sodom.
Just as Abraham lived on top of the hills, down below was the evil city of Sodom and Gomorrah. Where doubt, Unforgiveness, perversion, idolatry was present.
While some like to stay in a state of sin where it only last for a season, there is another choice to leave that life and head for the hill. peace, rest and more importantly Salvation can be found in Him.
His love makes it worth it all. We can lay everything down.
Are you ready for an overflow? Where Unforgiveness and pride are burned off–welcome to your next level.
“In order to get where He is, we must come out from where we are.”. Powerful, thank you! The tent of complacency and ill perceived tent of security are prisons with bars made of misplaced fear. May we only fear God and go to His ground!
Thank You Tom! And yes let’s head for the hill!
