THE SET UP

MOSES: THE BURNING BUSH

Exodus 3

A man who was raised by the royal family, living in Egypt with the most academic and scientific society among ancient societies at that time. He rode in a princely chariot, if he floated the Nile, it was a magnificent ship with musical accompaniment; he lived the royal life. He lived a comfortable life and had almost everything he wanted. He would be the  next man to become Pharaoh of Egypt.

We also know that Moses’ Hebrew mother had an influence on his life, teaching him about what’s right from wrong. The simple things of life. The same woman that trusted God with her son is about to see one of the most amazing miracles that God would perform on Earth. For Moses, it would be an awakening, a life change. It would become his destiny. Moses is about to be set up.

At times I find myself beginning to take the easy road. The mindset that God’s got this. He has it all under control. As this statement is true. We also must do our part. Trust! We can’t have the mindset that whatever happens, happens. The more passive mindset we have leaves bigger “loop-holes” for the enemy to barge in on. We must stand and lean on the Word. We must have a lifestyle of prayer that shakes the gates of Hell. The complacency that we have is the room for the enemy to walk in. Guard your mind by taking every thought that raises up against the knowledge of God by the obedience of Christ.

Like Moses, we get all caught up in the comfort. There’s no more discernment, no more fear of the Lord. You are numb to your surroundings. All you want is things to satisfy the crave for more things. When will it stop? You might be setting yourself up for a set up.

Moses & The Burning Bush

Join me in the coming weeks as we start the new series of Moses. God has spoken to me in the past months about the character of Moses and the Grace that was shown towards His children and still is. I have so many notes that needs to be shared. You’ll never see Moses like you’ve never seen him before!

Drawn pt.1

With studying the book of Moses, God has pointed out several key subjects to me. Stay tuned for further posts!

1. To be drawn to a fire we must be captivated by it.

Moses was drawn to the burning bush.

Who wouldn’t be?

“And he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.”

When you get into the presence of God The impossible always happens with God. Chains are broken, hearts are restored, lives are changed.
How do you look at God?

When God saw that Moses turned to look at the bush, it got His attention. God is moved by Faith.

But first we must look and expect God to speak.
Who knew that God would use Moses to deliver 3 million people. All the Lord needs is one man, or woman to preach His Word. Will you be drawn?
