Every Good Gift

EVRY GOOD GIFT

Everything we have is a gift from God, whether it be our job, the car we drive, etc. the ultimate gift is Him!

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

It’s the holiday season which is the time for all the Christmas parties. In hoping to receive a good gift whenever it’s time to exchange gifts. You always have that thought of the dreadful fruitcake. Because someone didn’t have time to shop or they rummaged in their pantry to find a last minute gift. But whatever gift you might have got stuck with, might not have been what you wanted.

As I’m growing older, the Lord is teaching me to be content with what I already have. To be grateful for whatever season that I am in, and to trust Him regardless of what is around me.

We can get so wrapped up with what the other person has and how we envy, become jealous of that “perfect gift” that we think we should have.

  1. There are times when we don’t get the gift that we “want”

Because we don’t need it!

He will give us the gift that we need for the season that you will be in. God will give you that spouse, vehicle, home or whatever desire of your heart when it is His timing.

How? Why?

God’s ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts.

In a way some of us may think that God is being mean by withholding that perfect gift. But life itself is a perfect gift. And Jesus is that perfect gift!

Psalm 84:11
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

2. HE IS AN ON TIME GOD

He knows what you need next wed, tonight, He knows when and how to deliver that gift! whether it be:

  • deliverance
  • Healing
  • Strength

He does not change, he will not waiver according to your SITUATION.

IF I HONOR GOD’S PROCESS.
HE WILL HONOR HIS PROMISE.
