“He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days.” – Genesis 7:24,25
As we had read earlier the topic of this series called “What Faith is: The Relationship of Trust” we find that Noah was trusting in God in a circumstance that had never been done before in history and will never be done in history again. The words of “build an ark” was spoken to Noah by God in an hour of desperation for God’s people to come to repentance before the flood waters came. Even though many ignored Noah’s preaching, Noah still pressed on never quitting, never complaining of what was happening.
The blessing Noah’s faith released in his own life also spilled over into his family’s experiences. “Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive”. Noah had just released a blessing into his life by obeying God! What circumstance are you in right now that could release a blessing in your life?
